This 500ml sterile eyewash solution contains the active ingredient of 0.9% w/v sodium chloride EP which means it is ideal for irrigating and cleansing the eye, or a wound. This 500ml sterile eyewash option is the most common of the bottles that we stock, and is the standard size that is used within all of our eyewash stations and eyewash kits. It is simple and easy to use and to open you simply twist the cap smoothly to break the seal. Once the seal has been removed you simply position the container above the eye and gently squeeze allowing the fluid to flow freely across the eyeball to the outer corner. Similarly if you are using the solution to irrigate a wound then the same instructions should be followed allowing the wound to be irrigated in the same manner.
